DESCRIPTION OF DATASET
----------------------------------------------------------------

There is limited documentation on the information found in this dataset, which was located with documents for the Omnibus Household Survey. In the dataset, there is information on up to 10,000 different cities located in the US, that had the potential to be called for the OHS. Additional information (variables) shown in the data are case ID, age ranges, race, census region, inside/outside metropolitan area, fips code, household income, number of calls, household disposition codes, screener disposition codes, screening questions, final interview disposition codes, interview start time, and interview end time. There is incomplete data for the variables: household disposition codes, screener disposition codes, screening questions, final interview disposition codes, interview start time, and interview end time. These blanks resulted from a survey not being conducted or no one answering any calls in that particular city.

The number of rows with completed data corresponds to the number of rows in the dataset generated from OHS survey responses from 2000-12. This was verified by matching caseIDs from this dataset with those in bts_omnibus_household_survey_200012_data.csv. The interview disposition dataset shows the potential survey sample that was used and the areas that received calls even if no survey was completed.
