Line graph loss-of-control crashes in Germany from 1998-2002 for Daimler-Chrysler vehicles. On the x-axis is the year of the car's registration and accident and on the y-axis is the percentage of accidents caused by loss of control. For Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the percentage of loss-of-control accidents was 20.7 in 1998-1999, 18.3 in 1999-2000, 12.0 in 2000-2001, and 12.0 in 2001-2002. For "other" vehicles, the percentage was 19.1 in 1998-1999, 19.1 in 1999-2000, 19.5 in 2000-2001, and 18.2 in 2001-2002.
